No. igbento doesn't track your account in the background or send alerts. You run a check when you want one, and compare it with an earlier export to see changes.

The checker is free, needs no login and works on phones, but uses an export file that can be a few days old. The extension reads your current lists and can unfollow for you.

Lists come from Instagram at the moment you check. Very recent follows, deactivated accounts, or an old export file can all make the result differ from what you see in the app.

Unfollowing in large bursts can trigger Instagram's limits. igbento unfollows slowly with pauses between actions and stays under a daily cap, which lowers the risk but can't remove it.

Free allows 25 in a rolling 24 hours, up to 100 a month. Paid plans run 100 a day in Safe mode or 150 in Standard mode. igbento never goes above 150 a day.

igbento pauses the task when Instagram shows a warning or rate limit, so it doesn't keep pushing. Paid plans can resume automatically later; on Free you restart it yourself.

Your follower and following lists are stored in your own browser, not on igbento servers. Clearing the extension's browser data removes them, and you can export a copy to CSV first if you want one.
